What mould&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I mentioned here before that the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jude.hanlon.co.uk\/blog\/?p=1857\" target=\"_self\"> first batch of elderflower champagne<\/a> went mouldy.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jude.hanlon.co.uk\/blog\/?p=1881\" target=\"_self\"> It went mouldy<\/a>, so I threw it away and made a second batch.<\/p>\n<p>That one went mouldy, too.<\/p>\n<p>I properly cleaned the barrel the second time, so I&#8217;m not sure why this occurred.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, I took it outside and fished off the big sloppy layer of mouldy elder flowers and underneath it didn&#8217;t look or smell too bad.
