We’re back. The early-ish morning light is shining across the living room through a big grey raincloud (that’ll be Lancashire in August, then) and I’m suddenly filled with a warm happy feeling.<\/p>\n

There is, indeed, no place like home.<\/p>\n

Just spent a few days in Southampton & Twickenham with the kids visiting bezzy mate<\/a> & Ken&co. The kids had a ball, and I had a pretty good time, too. The “hard dolls” were brought out again, Joel got a really hard Scooby Doo jigsaw, and called all of Ken’s kids Rachel. We visited hobbycraft & only bought what we went in for (well, nearly), bought school shoes, and (finally) met The CurlyMinx herself on a trip to Marwell Zoo.<\/p>\n

All in all, a good week, but a tiring drive back.<\/p>\n

Oh, and the car’s cooling system has sprug a leak, so possibly an expensive week coming up…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
