What was bugging me? My lack of size 7mm needles. I ended up getting up and re-organising my wool stash just to make doubly sure that even though I&#8217;ve bought what I thought was 3 complete sets of needles, none of them have a size 7mm. Is 7 really unlucky in China (where I got the needles from)? Is it because it&#8217;s just missed 8, which I believe is considered really quite lucky?<br \/>\nI called Karen to complain (her being the only person who would be receptive to these things at 0615 our time (1715 her time)) and she said why don&#8217;t I just use a different size needle?<br \/>\nThere&#8217;s a reason why I occasionally refer to her as my Wise Older Sister.
