<\/a><\/p>\nThe tank And then I read them again.<\/p>\n And then I looked at my knitting and realised what the slightly not-quite-right feeling I’d been having was caused by. I’d only done half the decreases I was supposed to do. I’d been diligently decreasing at each side of the front every 6 rows but not at the back. That pattern says “*do this, repeat from *” and I’d missed out “repeat from *”.<\/p>\n I tried to think of a way round it, but I knew the truth. I spent a mere 5 minutes chanting “I love knitting ” in my head and turning 5″ of knitting into 2 balls of wound yarn.<\/p>\n It’s growing again now, and I’m not *so* far removed from where I was. Am I?!<\/p>\n At least the right number of decreases will use less yarn.
