{"id":337,"date":"2009-02-05T14:57:02","date_gmt":"2009-02-05T13:57:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jude.hanlon.co.uk\/blog\/?p=337"},"modified":"2009-02-06T10:31:57","modified_gmt":"2009-02-06T09:31:57","slug":"what-sums-you-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.jude.hanlon.co.uk\/blog\/?p=337","title":{"rendered":"what sums you up?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve read a couple of books of late whose covers depict a set of objects which are meant to reflect either the main protagonist&#8217;s life or their experience during the book (currently &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jude.hanlon.co.uk\/blog\/wp-admin\/%20%20%3C%21--#include%20file=\" target=\"_blank\">A Tree Grows In Brooklyn<\/a>&#8220;, previously <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/Five-Quarters-Orange-Joanne-Harris\/dp\/0552998834\/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1233842104&amp;sr=1-5\" target=\"_blank\">Joanna Harris books<\/a>\u00a0(which it turns out have been re-published since the copy of &#8220;Coastliners&#8221; &amp; &#8220;Gentlemen &amp; Players&#8221; I got from the library)(several years later I&#8217;m still feeling really smug about guessing the twist in G&amp;P by about chapter2)).<\/p>\n<p>It got me thinking as to what my set of objects would be at the moment? Watch this space.<\/p>\n<p>And yes, it probably *is* down to something in the water.
