The leaky pipe above Joel’s room turns out to be a manufacturing fault in the pipe – there’s a pinhole in the pipe, nowhere near any joints, and apparently with no cause as to why it’s gone just now. We’ve been advised to claim on the house insurance. I’d like to include in that claim: the cost of 2 bottles of wine & a box of chocolates, consumed but barely noticed due to excess stress. An effectively lost Easter weekend on Steve’s behalf, in particular this afternoon with Helen & Neil because I think he’d have enjoyed it, and would have helped relax him. <\/p>\n
We had a top time at Neil & Helen’s, although I think Joel felt slightly put-upon. Grace (the 3rd Rooney) was taking advantage of a chance to adjust the pecking order and gave him a couple of shoves.
