I was going to regale you with tales about train hat #3 this evening, but by the time I’ve been late back from work, put the children to bed, cooked & eaten tea, chatted to Steve (clearly an un-necessary activity) and (while I’m being disarmingly honest) faffed around on facebook for 20 minutes, time has passed and suddenly it’s 10 past 10 or as I like to think of it 7 hours 20 minutes until the alarm goes off (that might be wrong – I also drank wine so my mental arithmetic may not be at its usual peak).
So instead, I will leave you with this.
…just some of the damsons I picked before the wind blew them all off at the weekend. You can currently *wade* in damsons under the tree at the moment, it’s very upsetting.
And this:
It’s Lily, eating as many damsons as she can, but also pausing to do a squirrel impression.
PS. today my boss found out I post a blog. I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before, but he’s a busy, busy man and this was clearly news. So I’ll just say “thanks, Ian” and “Hi, Paul”. And it could be worse – it could be large snacks. Again.

You’re welcome…I think. Or ‘sorry!’ depending on your sincerity.
