turns out the odd rash that looks like insect bites is probably shingles. there goes my full week at work, then. oh pooh.

Also, have probably infected the south of England, although apparently it’s contagious rather than infectious according to the info I found, so the people we’ve seen already may be OK. But we’re looking at tomorrow at work curtailed, and possibly further enforced time off.
