Isolde – WIP

After two evenings of frogging, Isolde is now back to roughly this stage. It’s bizarrely satisfying, knowing that I’ll be using this yarn for something else. Each of the three colours is lovely, but in this combination, not winning. And the yarn was too heavy for this design.

I intend to revisit this pattern, either in a single shade, or in variations on closer colours. Given that I can’t afford to knit it with the original yarn, something else will *have* to do.

I’m quite sorry it hasn’t worked out, because this project was the reason I bought the leaflet (& had it shipped via my aunt’s from the US) but there was NO WAY the FO was going to be worn in public, and unlike yarn harlot, I don’t have room behind my boiler for shameful FOs to be stored…
