I used to be confused. now I just don’t know what on earth’s going on…
We saw Quantum of Solace last night, and by the end I was properly confused.
According to Steve I was trying to think too hard. I spent half the time wondering what the hell they said at any one point – too much muttering of snappy one-liners (I’m turning into my Grandma now – an entirely new issue to get worried about) – and wanting to rewind and watch again. Am I addicted to Sky+ ??!? Then there was the token woman from the British consulate in Bolivia whose sole purpose was to sleep with Bond (without, it has to be said, *any* effort on his part) and then be killed (um.. spoiler alert, BTW, but honestly, it’s not a crucial part of the plot). And the action scenes clearly used up a lot of money, time and effort, but they were too *blurry* and too *fast*. Again, maybe I’m turning into my Grandma. But just a nano-second slower and I’m sure I would have enjoyed it more.
Better luck next time, eh.

Thought spoiler alerts were supposed to come before the spoiler!!! (Don’t worry, haven’t seen the previous one yet and know the main spoiler in that one….by the time I get round to seeing this one, will have probably seen most of it in clips!!)

Are you sure you weren’t just distracted by Mr Bond?
Yet again, stuffing has commenced.
