We made sugar mice yesterday afternoon. 50% are left. Amazingly, given the ingredients of sugar, sugar & more sugar, no-one has broken anything, no heads have exploded, and there are still half of them left.
Recipe from Usborne’s big book of things to do. It was the only cooking thing which didn’t need eggs, which we don’t have.

They look a bit like Alien heads to me.
Forgot to say – the yellow thing is cheese. Sadly, it ran out before the mice did. Each time Joel had a mouse he said “and what about a bit of cheese?”. Quite Wallace & Gromit, yes indeed.
