The other demise this week was that of the Mazda. Tom & Pdete got it to replace steve’s broken lada within the first few months of us going out together. Steve spent a week between its purchase & its “delivery” to London asking everyone what a mazda 626 looked like as apparently he owned one.
I found his lack of interest in cars endearing, especially after the previous 2 boyfriends.
On Tuesday it was discovered smashed to bits following an attempted theft, and today it was towed away.
RIP Mazda. May its bits go on to help many other cars to live on.
