I’ve read a couple of books of late whose covers depict a set of objects which are meant to reflect either the main protagonist’s life or their experience during the book (currently “A Tree Grows In Brooklyn“, previously Joanna Harris books (which it turns out have been re-published since the copy of “Coastliners” & “Gentlemen & Players” I got from the library)(several years later I’m still feeling really smug about guessing the twist in G&P by about chapter2)).
It got me thinking as to what my set of objects would be at the moment? Watch this space.
And yes, it probably *is* down to something in the water. Possibly the coffee grains.
