Francie sock 2 has made progress – a few rows last weekend. It feels harder to work 4 needles, and it turns out that I can’t do a full row in the 3 minutes it takes to boil an egg.
Snowdrift progresses – I’ve now done the back, a sleeve & the right front. Second sleeve cast on today. I showed the bits to Dad this avo and he said it looked a bit small. Am worrying now…
Turquise surface is ongoing – I’m nearly done with the rib at the back. The rows feel really long on 3.25mm needles, though. Especially when snowdrift is now 40st on(I think) 6mm needles, so *much* faster growth, and the right front only called for 3 rows of rib at the bottom.
Onwards & upwards!
I originally wrote this last weekend when I had just cast on the right front of snowdrift. I meant to add pictures. The light hasn’t really been good enough, so you’re getting an image-free update. Sorry. Maybe soon.
