The knitting is done on these gloves, which I’ve decided are pretty gauntlet-like. Just sewing in ends, and then I need to find buttons, make buttons loops & job’s a good ‘un. I’m thinking metal buttons would go nicely.
Helps to think this way, as I’m intending to give them to my friend as thanks for her help in fighting the council elections this year (and every election every year), to wear while delivering leaflets in the spring & autumn. So leaflet delivery gauntlets seem appropriate.
