It’s funny, reading back on my last post about this scarf, how it was keeping me from going to bed by being so charming and exciting to knit. It wasn’t very long after that that this project lost all its charm and became The Project That Wouldn’t Finish.

I knitted 2 balls of chunky yarn to make this, intending it to be long enough to do the loop-over thing. By the time I started the second one, I had had enough.

Still, the finished result is pretty and quite soft, and after it’s been washed and dried will hopefully not fold in half down the middle quite so easily.

The happy recipient seemed happy enough with it, so job’s a good ‘un. I imagine it won’t get too much wear before next winter now, but you can’t have everything, eh?!
