I’m knitting a poncho for Lily. It’s based fairly closely on Debbie Bliss’ Ruby from “essential knits for kids”, except instead of the 10 colours of pricey yarn in the pattern I’m using 4 colours of much less pricey yarn.
It’s going well. Lily appreciates it loudly whenever I bring it out.
I was taking a photo of it this evening when I noticed something.
See if you can spot it.
Yes, it’s this.
A more perfectionist knitter (is that even a phrase?) would attempt to fix this. However, I’ve now decided that this shall be the back, and this
Shall be the front.
So there.
ps. it may seem a bit bulgy – I’ve pinned the neck closed, and am keeping the yarn in there while I’m working on it.
