Hey, Teach! is progressing well, except when doing the second front last night I noticed that I’d started the neckline too early on the first front *sigh*. For some reason, even though I’ve CIRCLED CLEARLY the measurements & instructions for the size I’m doing (the third one in the brackets), I chose to start the neckline at the measurement for the smallest size, which was basically inline with the armhole. It’s unlikely I’ll be wearing it without anything, but still, it’s worth doing vaguely properly.
This is the re-used teal from Isolde – and it’s progressing well.
As a side note, I shaped my nails at the weekend instead of cutting them, and I’m regretting it – I keep hitting extra keys when I’m typing… Might have to cut them fairly soon.
Lily’s school asked that they take something in from their baptism today – so I dug out her candle. Needless to say, we then had to dig out Joel’s as well, and in the process Lily saw Finbar, a toy she had as a baby who I’d squirreled away in the hopes of reducing the massive stack of toys in her room. He has now (possibly only temporarily) supplanted Boo-boo in the bedtime cuddles position. Lily seems to be obsessed with when she was a baby at the moment. She’s constantly asking what she did, how she spoke, how she played with toys. I’d love to know where it’s coming from!
