The other day Jane Brocket posted about the hanging gardens of The Barbican. I love the sunken gardens shown in the top photo in her post, and have only seen them thanks to Neil, my friend Lorna’s brother, who used to chef at the pub/restaurant overlooking this very pond.

Lovely. It looks good from that angle, too.
